On them is depicted a two-headed eagle – the king’s bird. The symbol has been popular since the early 18th century. The double head in this case is perceived to reinforce the symbolism of the eagle – power stronger than kings, king of kings.
The sun is also present as a symbol here. In folk beliefs, it is of paramount importance in human life. When it comes to man, the sun symbolizes a very righteous man, erected by God high and gifted with the power to shine.
